Privacy policy

This policy explains what BoxTruckDispatch ("BoxTruckDispatch", "we") collects through boxtruckdispatch.com, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your details to talk to you about box truck dispatch, and we never sell them.

Updated October 2026

What we collect

When you apply for dispatch (the full application or the quick apply drawer): your name, mobile phone, email, best time to call and any notes; your truck setup, number of trucks, CDL or non-CDL and liftgate; whether you have your own MC, your MC or DOT number, how old your authority is, and your home base or preferred lanes. The quick form asks only for your truck, name and phone; you can add the rest on the thank-you page.

When you use the contact form: your name, mobile phone, email if you give it, and your message.

Sent automatically with a form: the page you sent it from, the referring site, campaign tags (UTM) stored from your first visit, a general device type (phone, tablet or desktop), the time, your IP address for spam protection and rate limiting, and a Cloudflare Turnstile check that tells us the form was filled by a person.

We don't ask for your Social Security number, bank details, driver's license or payment information on this website.

How we use it

  • To call, text or email you about your application or question and about our dispatch service.
  • To check whether your truck and authority fit what we dispatch and which fee applies.
  • To set up dispatch if you become a customer. The service itself is governed by the dispatch agreement you sign.
  • To stop spam and abuse, and to understand which pages bring in applications so we can improve the site.
  • To meet legal obligations and to defend legal claims.

Calls and texts

Our forms ask for your consent to be contacted by phone, text and email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call or by email and we'll stop. We record when and on which form you gave consent.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of the site for us under contract: our host and network provider (including Cloudflare for security, caching and the Turnstile check), our email delivery provider (Resend) that delivers form alerts and confirmation emails, and our analytics provider. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Brokers and shippers, only when you are our customer and only what a load needs: your carrier packet, authority, insurance certificate and contact details, so the load can be booked under your authority.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Calculators and guides

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to our server. They are kept in the page address so you can save or share a link; anyone you send that link to can see those numbers. The dispatch application saves your progress in your browser's session storage so a reload doesn't erase it, and clears it when you submit.

Cookies and analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that doesn't use cookies to track you across sites and loads only after you interact with the page. It counts page views and events like a form being started or sent, without building a profile of you.

If you arrive from a link with campaign tags, we store them in one first-party cookie (btd_utm) for 90 days, so we know which campaign led to an application. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep application and contact details for as long as we are talking with you and, if you don't become a customer, for up to 24 months after our last contact so we know we already spoke. Customer records are kept for the length of the dispatch relationship and as long afterwards as tax, accounting and legal rules require. You can ask us to delete your details sooner; see below.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted ads or profiling. Several U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas, give residents some or all of these rights. We honor these requests for every visitor, whatever state you live in, and we won't treat you differently for making one.

To make a request, use our contact page. We'll confirm we received it, may ask you to verify your identity with details from your application, and will answer within the time your state's law sets (usually 45 days). You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that they act for you. If we deny a request, you can ask us to reconsider it.

Security

Forms are sent over HTTPS, the site sits behind Cloudflare's firewall, and we limit who on our team can see your details. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, bank or card numbers through our forms.

Children

This site is for people running trucking businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and we'll tell you directly about any change that affects information you already gave us. Questions about privacy: use our contact page.
